They weren't exactly cheap replacements were they we had to pay 6 figure fees for some of them.

I don't claim to be ITK. Just pick up bits here and there.

Sack them all. We had more and better options at the back, in league 2 under Lawn and Jackson.

Not sure what you wanted to achieve with this post Ron. From a league perspective and being a results game we have won two out of two. Can't ask better than that irrespective of the oppo.

We have to take into account the sick, lame, injured, inc our coach by the way, which means a lack of continuity and as a result fluidity on the pitch

I do think that a settled side will see us returning to the good football of last season, there were occasional signs yesterday by the way, however we do have in our favour, DP and Patrick who can stick the ball in the net.

I appreciate there is clamour for s centre back, but Killa was good yesterday, so I am not so concerned after seeing that.

SM is between a rock and a hard place, he can see the fault lines, as can we , but it is clear for me that a settled squad where our best players are available, will see healthy competition for the shirt and as a result "better" performances.

It must be noted, you said the opposition yesterday could have scored to level up. They didn't, and better game management by our front line will put a stop to that.

    Onwards and upwards

50 % as things stand ..... about the same as some 18k ST holders, and I POTG. So in essence - I'm no better or worse, '67 ;)

So youve seen 1 game and yet youve decided we have no chance of promotion. Well done. Where did you buy your crystal ball from.

Ha ha ha, Lb - I'd love to claim that's the case. ;)
However, in fairness to @City-since-67 , PB and yourself - I was only counting league matches. I've not seen a Trophy game for goodness knows how long, and the last time I viewed an early round L Cup game was against Leeds.
