Can you remember when you were single & people told you there was someone for everyone?

Well, here's the proof!

Swindon boss Andy King has taken the first step towards signing former Manchester United defender Paul Tierney.

King has held preliminary talks with the 22-year-old full-back, who played 16 games on loan for Bradford last season.

King told the club's official website: "I have spoken to Paul Tierney and I am trying to tie that one up. He has flown out to Arizona at the moment so we may have to wait on that one."

Swindon have been left with a number of vacancies in their squad after the departures of defender Matt Heywood and midfielders Grant Smith and Brian Howard.

King said: "I need to replace Heywood with a proven centre-back, not a kid. With regards to Grant Smith I had a replacement there in Brian Howard but he has looked elsewhere so that leaves me with a gap to fill."

Lol Personally I would have kept him & got rid of Emanuel!
