Afternoon everyone Huddersfield supporter here. Not been on for a while but thought I would see how Jordi is getting on and also noticed a great piece of business getting Alex Jones.

So Jordi how is he doing?

Alex Jones good signing do you think? Is he your next Nahki?

I'm hoping you join us in the Championship next season (if we don't go up) as well as the Irons and Blades for the return of some cracking away days.

if his brain and legs had full lines of communication he'd be in your starting team. they don't so he isn't.

there is a player in him somewhere though

He wouldn't be anywhere near your team, he's not a Championship standard player. There are still aspects on his game he needs to work on however unlike some of our other strikers he gets himself into good goal scoring positions which is why he's our leading goal scorer. Him and Jones would be my personal choice up front with the strikers we have avaikable.

Jordi looks like a world beater with his movement, until he gets in front of goal then he can't hit a barn door. With the chances he's had he should be on more, but I for one like him he's raw but there's something there. He works hard and like I say has good movement, work on his finishing and his inconsistent first touch and there could be a real player for the future.

Jones only played 70 minutes and hasn't trained all week due to illness, to early to tell. But he looks promising good touch and looks a direct player who's desperate to score which makes a nice change from us trying to walk it in.

Jordi and Jones played upfront against Chesterfield, and I thought their partnership showed promise baring in mind they'd just met. I'd persist with them for the next few games as I think they earned it and who knows they could forge a very good mobile, scoring partnership.

But I think one will be dropped to make way for Hanson against Shrewsbury which will be a shame.

Hopefully we can get promoted, would be some great derbys and other games to look forward to.

Nowhere near Championship class and I'm not convinced he ever will be. I honestly wouldn't like to try and guess which way Jordi's career will go as I'm yet to even figure out whether I rate him or not.

Just when I'm ready to give up on him he does the sublime. Then when I think he's coming good comes the ridiculous. In short he's something of an enigma.

No need to thank me for this utterly unhelpful post.

He has a huge hole in his foot, whereby when he swings his leg to shoot his often misses completely (ala Walsall away).
However, on the positive side, it's getting smaller and sometimes connects.

Seriously, I agree with Hobhead ( see post above) one moment he looks like there's a really talented lad there, then the other he's straight out of the wagon and horses Sunday team

Don't you just hate it when friendly doggies wander onto your patch. In short, same as what all the above have said. He's a very frustrating player. Gets in some great positions and is very quick but has a poor first touch and is far too erratic with his finishing. Age is on his side and if he can iron out his faults over the next few seasons he could go on to be a championship quality player.

Runs like Bambi on ice, needs to improve his finishing but agree as posted above, with the right coaching he could be a championship player

I will HH , a classic, totally unhelpful insight into the career progression of a loanee.

He's got promise, needs a lot of chip dinners rather than chicken pasta and all that twaddle.

Oddly if he's cheap or free at season end I would persevere

Thank you for feedback. Very mixed bag views on Jordi who apart from pre-season games I've not seen play live only Youtube clips and the Football League show highlights where sometimes your lucky to get 30 seconds of a game. Jonesy sounds an exciting prospect and hopefully fires you to promotion. Fingers crossed we won't be playing each other next season which can only mean one thing and Town are long overdue there.

Good luck Bantams!

I think he's doing ok but has some major flaws at the mo:

- Inconsistent finishing as he seems to get a bit panicky when in the box sometimes.
- Doesn't travel with the ball well.
- Doesn't always get stuck in.

He makes excellent runs and his acceleration/speed is outstanding however 9 times out of 10 he loses the ball and has an annoying habit of either kicking fresh air or missing the target with the majority of chances he gets. He'd be on 15 goals at least if he could finish.

I know he's young and time is on his side but sadly I think he's lacking the fundamental skills to be an effective striker.

He's on his way to 16 goals for the season. That's the sort of Shiite we've been looking for.

I agree. At least I think I do.

Nah, if the price was right he'd be worth the risk but if he spent any time bench warming at this stage I think he'd go stale very quickly. He needs gametime and lots of it if he's to stand any chance of coming good.
