Awful timing for Marshall. Just turned 30 and his move to Charlton after his form last season you'd imagine that this would've felt like the biggest move in his career. We've seen first hand how much of a confidence player he is, superb when full of it in his second year but bang average without it in his first. Hopefully the injury doesn't dent it too much.
Good luck to him, apart from against us obviously!
Shame if he can't make the Charlton / City fixture as he'd have been in for a standing ovation from the City faithful, but from a team selection point of view I'll be glad not to see him on the team sheet.
