We need to agree an extension ASAP. If for example Scotland fail in the next two matches they could be after a new manager shortly, and at least 2 Championship clubs currently looking - more along shortly, not to mention SPL. If we are in a position to try and bring players in at Xmas, then it will also be a big factor.

The only footballing curse that I believe in is the curse of the magpie in my garden. EVERYTIME I see a single magpie in my garden on match day we lose, without fail. I've even taking to shooting them on non matchdays to get rid but one keeps coming back. The saluting thing works if it's not in my garden, but not if it is.

I don't look out of the window on matchdays now.

I've heard Bolton are sniffing around. They feel he's the man to het them out of there mess and want to part ex him for Parky/ Parkin to reduce any compo. Edin has told them to stick it up his dusseldorf though.

Seriously?.......Macca is the wrong choice for that mess. And I wouldn't want Parkinson back at City. That ship has sailed, we have evolved and moved on from the dark ages.

Great win today OK they had a lad sent off but apart from that lapse just before half time we footballed them off the pitch.

Strachan's left the Scotland job and Stuart's 20/1 for the job at the moment. I doubt he would be tempted TBH.

Simon Parker has just put on Twitter that he asked McCall the question about the Scotland job and he has said he isn't interesting in the job at this stage.

Sensible. Scotland can wait. They'll still be shite in another 3 or 4 years time.

At 5:30PM he may give a different answer.

    Just curious.

I imagine it's two things. One, he has unfinished business here, he has a lot to learn as a coach and we are a good place to do that.

Secondly, the current Scotland team is pretty average with heavy reliance on old boys like Brown and Fletcher in the middle of the park. There needs to be a bit of blooding in the new, younger players which could go either way.

So maybe he'd rather wait a few more years, deliver some success for us, learn his trade a bit more and wait to see if the next crop of Scotland players have more promise/chance of success than the current crop.

McCall gets the best out of average players I'd say he's perfect for Bolton

Agree, Manager of the month normally goes to an unbeaten who win 3 or 4 games in a row. At which point in most leagues that run comes to an end.

    McCall on 5 live now....

And he certainly didn't rule himself out and dodged the question when asked. All he said was there were better options available and that he takes no notice of bookmaker odds.

    Cue. Panic!
