Fulham are a team we always seem to miss. I reckon they might be even longer ago.
I remember going to Blackburn and taking a large following to a Youth FA cup game on a Saturday when City were away darn sarth (possibly Southend). It was when Graeme Tomlinson was starting to get games in the first team, but think he played in the cup game for the youth team.
It's amazing to think we haven't played Blackburn in any competition since 1990 !!! It will be a new ground for most Blackburn fans.
feel sorry for Blackburn they've been well and truly shafted and the rot seems to be allover their club. Not long ago we absailed through the leagues
21,870 including 1,620 Blackburn Fans
Premier League club 3/4 years ago... 12,000 is shameful.
Not really, it's about their pre Jack Walker level
A few boycotting no doubt have to feel sorry for them look to be doing a Blackpool but also wouldn't underestimate them,I hope they play as bad against us but we will need to play better than at anytime this season to get all 3 points 22,700.
Dack's not pulling up any trees but as with any club, it's more about the team than the individuals.
Like every team, gelling takes time and they may get better but hopefully not until after we have played them.
Love how they think they're a big draw in this league. Anybody going next week solely to watch the mighty Blackburn?
No? Just me then....
Why are some people obsessed with attendances
What else are they going to willy wave about?
We are literally the massivest club in the world because we get 21,000 for a shitty league game in a shitty league against shitty Blackburn Rovers.
Why oh why do fans not consult the fixture list before booking holidays ( waste of time/energy anyway)....!!
Although my family are guilty of it usually 'cos they let their womenfolk book it..!!
What was our attendance at our first game at this level after our 2 relegations in 3 years from the Premier League and whatever the Championship was called then?
For our first Saturday game, 10,444.
Ironically, against the same team (Donny). Although, from memory they didn't bring 1700 to VP like they took to Ewood Park yesterday.
Blackburn never used to have big travelling support and this was in their hey day of the premier league. Big fish in little pond brings them out.
And from your response I assume the crowd for the actual first game was even lower.
Where does all this vitriol come from? Just another 3 points hopefully or at least an entertaining game. Attendance about 21k again.
Peterborough on a Tues night, attendance was 6,929.
