S McCall, when he was mediocre he was still better than the rest. International caps, World Cups, trophies, FA Cup Final goals, and of course he was in the 'Ger team that put L***s to the sword in the 'Battle of Britain'. Legend!
Played Left back for City, he was there week in week out, not a brilliant player or my favourite but he always put in the effort when City were down in the hard leagues, he played 304 games, 246 consecutively, back when the ball was a heavy lump of leather, and if it was wet and muddy it was only the brave that got their heads under it. A quiet guy but one up there with the Mr Bradford City's, he won City's hall of fame for the 50s
Stuart McCall, pure City throughout his career here. Benito like everbody says was pure class, and one of the very few prima donna's that we signed who actually entertained and put in his all for this club.
Bobby Campbell was fantastic as well, different era, but worth a mention, as does Cess Podd.
100 % commitment to the cause, on numerous occasions saved our club he was'nt blessed with any great pace or sublimes skills that you would see from many a good foreign import, but what he did have total commitment
