His hair was always far, far better than Scholes.

Hair is a great yardstick for success in most people's opinions.

Oh really? Tell me, how many promotions to the Premier League does Paul Scholes have on his CV?

Growing up Scholes supported Man City, that according to his cousin. He may be a fan of Oldham but not in his blood so to speak.

@Tawheed Ali you just tick disagree!!!

Other people have correctly righted my bad by explaining Stuart has better hair and has a promotion to the Prem on his cv. You could add he won loads of Scottish titles at a time when that league had very good players.

Please enlighten me with why Scholes has a worse career than SM?

McCall is clearly the greatest footballer to have ever lived. I won't be taking no for an answer.

You forgot his goalscoring record at Bradford.

It was clearly much better than Scholes who only managed a couple less than James Hanson.

Is that why people on this forum prefer Reeves and Vincelot to Law?

Apparently he has offered to assist, rather than become their next manager. http://www.insidefutbol.com/2017/10...d-paul-scholes-doesnt-want-oldham-job/353225/

Frankly if a club cannot pay its staff, the transfer window is shut and he has not got any direct experience of management , it may be one of those appointments, which could damage his reputation.

Given that he lives in the area, then it could be difficult for him and his family if it all went wrong, if he became the manager.

Yep. And, as a club, we weren't ready for the stardust he was sprinkling.

Is the honeymoon period or new manager bounce a thing you should be worried about. Is there any data to prove it is something we should be worried about Sergio?
I hope you aren't just feebly falling for some superstitious nonsense like the manager of the month award curse or something. :D

In all honesty it’s the idea that a big name player is a good signing as a manager that amuses me. It’s like saying a brickie will make a good architect.
