Pinched from the OMB back catalogue. For what its worth I thought he would be great at this level but feel I got that wrong.

Swoop for Cadamarteri back on?
dbantx @ 16-MAY-05 12:11 PM Reply
According to the home page Colin Todd has not moved out going in for him.

I think he could rip defences to shreds in this league providing he was fit.

Then again we always have the Cooke and Windass partnership there for whenever Danny could not play...

If he is smart Danny will be eager to come back here, he needs to look at settling down with a club right now to kick start his career.

If he is wise he will realise he is 25 already and has only played a handful of games and scored a handful of goals not once managing to play even half of the games in a season, dropping down a league and getting a good full season under his belt without moving clubs could work wonders for him.

Its also interesting to see Todd is talking to a Premiership club about the possibility of getting one of their strikers on loan. Bradley Wright-Phillips maybe?

Cant believe you lot, Cadders is the biggest reject we've ever had. Didnt think twice about leaving us when he was playing well. Moves to L**ds of all places, just to get sold on again???

He's only about the money, cant believe we are even thinking about taking him back.

Cadders was actually farmed out as a cost cutting measure by Kroll, He was on a premiership style wage still and we just could not afford that so a deal was struck with Harvey & Leeds to take some of the finincial strain off the club.

When we were in administration the whole squad was told that they would be advised to find new clubs....you can't blame Cadders for trying to look out for himself....if your going to blame anyone, blame the administrators for agreeing with L***s to pay part of his wages!

Mr Injury would keep our physio busy if nothing else - He was hailed as the hero to save us against the drop and could not perform.

I like his style of play - he is pacey when fit but it is WHEN that is the maGic word.

For me the target would be Micheal Bridges just been released by sunderland on a free transfer, He would definately add something different to the squad and is no less injury prone than cadders

Keep the rumour mill turning...............

Bridges did have his problems but seems to have got past that and he knows where the net is ok, he did aginst big Nev against us when he flicked it over him.

Caddy I'd say when he's fit he's menacing when going towards goal but did we get value for money when he was here, I¿d say no. He turned it on late on but as I¿m a tad cynical it might have been for self gain and not just for the good of the club. I¿d be very worried about his fitness if I was in the shoes of Mr Rhodes.

BfB are now saying, based on Todds comments today, that Michale Chopra and Rowan Vine are possibilities for the season long loan deal. If we really have to resort to loans as oposed to permenant transfers, I'd be happy with either of those players, both looked good when i've seen them this season. A target man should be priority though.

As for the return of cadders, I've got to say NO. Yes he's a good player, but he's far too injury prone and this is never going to change. We don't want injury prone players in a squad the size of ours.

Chopra has some great skills and if he was available then it would be great if we could get him but I thought the Tykes might have first dabs on him, if they wanted the player.

Let's get Cadders back man!
We need more bro's in the side, even half bro's.
With pacey bro's like Ben and Danny we could rip defences apart, you know what I'm saying dude?

Uptight Outta sight!

Get on the good foot.

How can Cadamarteri even be considered for a return to Valley Parade,he did nothing consistantly special when fit to play. The money was there now it's not.Don't let Danny take us for another ride round the block.
Lets bring in a new face with appetite, not a long stay patient who will keep Steve Redmond busy.
