What about that Swindon left winger Brian Howard (i think his name was) that just rejected a contract offer from them saying he wanted to move to a club he thought would challenge for promotion.

Toddy after all did once manage Swindon and he knows their manager Andy King pretty well since he was once Todds assistant. I think Howard would be a good signing.

Brian Howard has signed for Barnsley along with 2 players from Scunny.

Oster could be the one - suited to a wide position , had a lot of potential but his career has gone nowhere despite a few moves - a club like us could be the Ideal platform for him to do his stuff , rather like Owen Morrison has .

With the players we have and the talk, of good ones coming in, we really do need a good center forad who knows where the net is, Windy cant do it all

Was thinkin he'd already signed for someone but couldnt remember where. Think Oster could be a good signing in this league if it's him we're after.

If true - could be a good signing if he can add to the goal tally with goals from midfield something missing last season - though BW looks like he could reach double figures.

Think Schuey could also get to double figures along with MBW.

Just as a matter of interest does anyone know if Michael Boulding and Sammy Igoe are still looking for clubs respectivley.City have shown an interest in both these players in the past, the latter is a very experienced midfield player and Boulding has provided and scored goals at every team he's played for. Both would be good signings in my opinion.

Great link, John Oster if we could pull it off would be a fantastic signing although he carries a bit of baggage around with him ( all his cronies from his supposed big time at the mackems ) TSSB
