I know it was always going to be tough to replace Marshy but only having Gilly who is a genuine wide man worries me. We have players who can play out wide but are not out and out wide men. When CW is back we need people who can deliver onto his noggin. Great start but the club are saying we only need a couple of defenders but I think we need to look at a wide man too.

I'm not being negative as I'm over the moon with two good wins. It I'm thinking of the season as a whole.

I think you make a very fair point there.

I have not seen anything from Gillead since he joined to think he will deliver reliable service for CW - he is not a patch on Mark Marshall in terms of the influence he has on games.

I hope Shay McCartan comes good and can contribute more in the weeks ahead, personally.

I agree with Mcarten. I think he will be great but he's more of a front man or a 'number 10'

I think we need a wide man that can take on a full back and put some service into the middle.

Mccarten as i have said from day one will be coup for us but as we play slightly different to last season with a tighter midfield you cant compare gilliead to marshall.

Did it worry you when we only had Marshy on the field as a wide man???

I think we were in much the same position last season?

We also have Robimson to step in if needed, no harm in giving him a shot.

We did have Gilly and Marshy most of the season. I think we need an another as well
    as Gilly.

I think Robinson could be a good shout but I think we need a winger who is more established as a wide man.

Eventually Poleon will end up out wide and cutting inside, supporting Wyke and McCarten

I think he is better down the middle.

We need a wide man that can deliver some crosses.

Gillead looked good when he came on yesterday in what were difficult circumstances. He picked the ball up and ran past people! I think we'll be fine with him once he gets going

No room for a winger in 433, majority of wykes goals are with his feet anyway

Really.. was rubbish in the 1st game.

    Overweight, slow and lacking ideas.

Suppose he can only get better but I wouldn't say he's going to be a coup for us.

For me we need better than McCarten.

Isn't this why were going to sign Jordan Gibson as a left winger?

    Has he signed?

Is he really good enough for where we want to be?

Yes. Agree with that. And then when he saw there was space on the edge of the area he'd also come in and look to make something happen.

I can't see Stuart getting another in. There'll be matches when Robinson gets a chance but we won't play with two wingers much. Just hope @Bermondsey Bantam finds his sh!t soon..... ;)

It was one game his first game for the club and playing a different style to what he was used to accy but yes i do believe he will be a coup for us.

So you think a div 2 signing who had a poor 1st game and is overweight will be a coup for us.

Think you're just living in hope rather than just anything of note to say he is going to be a coup for us.

He will be lucky to get back in the team now.

I think you'll be right Ricky how anyone can properly judge him after one game is nonsense
